September News wrap-up

September has flown by like most of the rest of 2016. I'm a little in denial that the fourth quarter of the year (Hey, my day job is in the finance industry where people define years in quarters, okay? Gimme a break!) starts tomorrow. I already saw a Christmas commercial on television, so basically I have resigned myself to the fact I will never win the battle against premature Christmas music/decorations and also the swift progression of time.
ANYWAY, here's what went down in Earth, Wind, & Fire's favorite month:
A Good Assistant was selected to screen at two festivals this fall:
The Yonkers Film Festival (YoFi Fest) in Yonkers, NY which runs October 16-23. Read more about it here.
Sick Chick Flicks Film Festival in Cary, NC on November 5th. Read more about it here.
Meisner and Scene Study Classes continue with Alan Gordon. Read about him here.
I returned to the guest co-host mic on Comic News Insider with Jimmy Aquino. You can listen to my episode here.
I'm currently writing/developing an hour drama television pilot. More details TBA.
I shot "No Milk," a film short for a friend's grad school film class. See stills from the project here.
I hope you're as excited for the bewitching month of October as I am. While I'm not a huge Halloween person, I DO love costumes, and I'm always happy to watch Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic endlessly all month long. Oh and that weird-yet-amazing Tim Curry song from The Worst Witch.
See ya for more magic next month (I'll put a spell on you!),
